Curioseando por su página web, vemos una noticia de 4 de agosto, del periódico "The Caledonian Record" en la que hablan de una petición que se ha abierto entre los fans de Taylor, en la que recogen firmas para que los Boston Celtics le fichen, resulta curiosa la iniciativa, pero tiene más de 500 firmas y además el periódico se hace eco.
Coppenrath Signs with Spanish Professional Team Alicante Costa Blanca

Caledonian Record Former University of Vermont basketball standout Taylor Coppenrath recently signed with the Alicante Costa Blanca professional basketball team of Alicante, Spain. The West Barnet native first played professionally in Greece and spent the 2006-2007 season in Biella, Italy where he averaged 7.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while battling an ankle injury from the beginning of the season. Alicante Costa Blanca plays in the ULEB Gold League and has signed American Cameron Bennerman from North Carolina State. Alicante is located on the Eastern Coast of Spain and borders the Mediterranean Sea. Coppenrath attended St. Johnsbury Academy and is the second-highest scorer in UVM history with 2,442 career points. The former America East Player of the Year is best remembered for leading the Catamounts to an upset win over Syracuse in the first round of the 2005 NCAA tournament.
